MAX SIZE: Some individuals have been known to reach lengths of OVER 6 FEET.
WEIGHT: They can weigh up to approximately 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs) when fully grown.
NOTABLE FEATURE: The neonatal coloration of juveniles (yellow, red, or brown) changes to the characteristic green after 6-12 months.
FUN FACT: Green Tree Pythons are often mistaken for the venomous Emerald Tree Boa due to their similar bright green coloring, but unlike their lookalike, they are non-venomous and rely on constriction to subdue their prey.
